Correct Building Products was
the first and is the most experienced manufacturer
of polypropylene based composite decking, railing
and porch products, and continues to lead the
industry with technical innovation in areas of
design, formulation and automation. Correct Building
Products manufactures technically superior, durable
and sustainable composite building products designed
for outdoor living and believes that every aspect
of a product’s lifecycle should be as environmentally
sustainable as possible, part of which includes
being PVC-free.

Upon taking
over the extrusion of another manufacturer’s
porch product in 2007, Correct Building
Products made several changes to the design,
formulation and manufacturing process which
lead to the development of CorrectPorch;
a vastly improved porch floor board. |
|
|
The original formula
of recycled wood and Polyethylene was replaced
with a blend of specialty hardwood fibers
(60%) and rugged Ultra Violet Light stabilized
Polypropylene (40%) to produce a board that
is stronger, stiffer and more dimensionally
stable than boards produced using Polyethylene
and PVC. |

CorrectPorch now features
a Patent Pending hidden spacer bead design
which creates a uniform spacing between
each board, allowing the product to expand
if necessary under extreme conditions. |

The CorrectPorch Hidden Spacer
Bead insures that each board is properly
spaced.

|
Every CorrectPorch porch floor board
is factory drilled every 16 inches for easier
installation. |

Color-Matched stair treads
are now available. The 1 1/8” x 5
½” profile provides added strength
for stair applications. |

|
CorrectPorch may be primed
with our recommended alkyd porch primer
and finished with a high quality porch and
floor paint. |
|
|
CorrectPorch when properly
installed and maintained according to Correct
Building Products' published installation
and care instructions, is warranted to the
original consumer (Purchaser) for as long
as you own your home, against rot, structural
decay, splitting, checking, splintering,
or termite damage under normal conditions
of decking use and exposure.
|
|
CorrectPorch is manufactured
in Maine where harsh freezing winters have
put it to the test. As far as the heat,
CorrectPorch can get up to 206° F without
any distortion or sagging between joists.
Depending on the length of the board you
will need to leave as little as 1/8th”
or as much as ¼” of space at
butt joints to allow for expansion. |

Environmental
Story |

CorrectPorch is manufactured
from plastic and waste wood fiber, which
means that no new trees are timbered expressly
for the purpose of creating it. Where possible,
we use recycled plastic. |
|
CorrectPorch is a non-leaching product,
which means that nothing filters out of
CorrectPorch into the aquifer. |
|
CorrectPorch has a longer life than traditional
timber products which means that every porch
built from CorrectPorch saves trees. |
